Buxton Military Tattoo 2022

After a two year break, brought about by the pandemic, Buxton Military Tattoo is delighted to return to the magnificent Devonshire Dome on Saturday 2 July 2022 for its eleventh year, with two performances of great music, spectacle and entertainment featuring some of the United Kingdom’s finest military bands.

The Tattoo is celebrating its eleventh year in the Dome and it looks like a spectacular line up under the leadership of Captain Laura Stead, Director of Music.

This year’s show features the British Army Band Sandhurst, home the world famous Royal Military Academy, the Band of Nottinghamshire Royal Engineers and the Military Wives Choir.

We are pleased to welcome back the Pipes and Drums of The Scots Guards Association who return to the Dome after several years.

The Tattoo likes to encourage youngsters as well so are pleased to announce that Band of Manchester Wing of the Royal Air Force Cadets will perform in the arena as will the Stockport Sea Cadets.

The show builds up to a spectacular massed bands finale including the emotive Sunset ceremony and also Lone Piper.

One notable change is that Buxton Military Tattoo will now be supporting The Royal British Legion, who, whilst known for Remembrance Day, also provide lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families throughout the year.

We have seen many marvellous performances from the Army, Navy and RAF, so I am proud to announce that we are now able to extend our support across the whole Armed Forces community by raising funds for The Royal British Legion.” says Chris Thornton, Buxton Military Tattoo’s Event Manager.
