Buxton Music Festivals 2019

 

Live music venue, A.M.P, present two festivals this year – Buxton Rocks and Buxton Indie Rocks – and High Peak Live present ‘Music on the Marketplace’

Buxton Rocks

The best tribute bands and great local support.

Bringing the best of the UK’s Tribute bands to Buxton, Buxton Rocks returns to A.M.P Buxton with a stella line up consisting of tributes to System of a Down, ACDC,Motley Crew, Joe Jackson and The Zee Zee Tops. There is an extremely exciting supporting line up featuring The Electric Rebels, Midnight Drive, Stormrider and 40,000 Leagues.

Saturday 6th April
1.30pm til 10:30pm (last entry 7pm)
A.M.P – 15 Eagle Parade (on the Market Place)
Ages 8+  (children out by 9.30pm)

Music on the Market Place

A one-day musical festival, all in one day, all in one town across multiple venues. With over fifty acts lined up, this is the event for music-lovers. Confirmed venues include: A.M.P Buxton (2 stages), Level 2 (2 Stages), The Vault and Layla’s.

Hosted by Buxton High Peak Live. In Aid Of Blythe House and the Thomas Theyer Foundation.

Saturday May 4th (be with you – fancy dress optional!)

Buxton Indie Rocks

The very best indie tribute and original bands come to Buxton.

Inspiral Carpets/The Carpets Front man, Tom Hingley, is the very special guest on a line-up that includes tributes to The Stone Roses, The Happy Mondays, The Courteenas and Oasis. The festival also features a great supporting line up including The Y Key Operators, FRANK, Laurel Canyon and Red Light Effect along side DJ Simon Partridge.

Saturday 20th July
1pm to 11pm (last entry 6pm)
A.M.P – 15 Eagle Parade (on the Market Place)
Ages 10+
