Group Activities
There are lots of group activities in and around Buxton. Below is information of activities which particularly cater for groups. Otherwise, please see our Things to Do pages. Our Beyond Buxton page has ideas for day trips out from the town.
For those interested in history and heritage, or just want to know more about where they are, join Discover Buxton Tours for a tour of the town. Groups of up to 15 can enjoy a range of walking tours (multiple guides are available for larger parties). They can also provide a guided commentary on any coach trips you take out into the wider Peak District.
For those not averse to heights, head up into the trees of Grin Low Woods with Go Ape’s tree top adventure high ropes course – groups of 4+ can enjoy a 15% discount on Sundays as part of their ‘Sunday Funday’ offer. Find out more on the Go Ape website here.
Or head down underground into Poole’s Cavern: discounts are available for groups of ten or more who book in advance.
Why not take in a show whilst you are here at the ‘Theatre in the Hills’. Booking discounts for groups of eight or more (ten for the panto) are available at the Buxton Opera House subject to the performance. Information can be found on the web page of each individual event.
