Spring Gardens is the town's principal shopping street where a range of national multiple retailers (including Waitrose and M&S) and independent businesses are located. There is customer parking and easy access to the station.

Cavendish Shopping Arcade
More than 15 independent retailers have premises within the beautifully restored Buxton Baths, a Grade II listed Neo-Classical thermal baths. The building boasts a stunning stained glass barrel vaulted roof designed by the painter and artist Brian Clarke. Shops sell clothes, footwear, homeware, books, gifts, eco-friendly products and there is even a chocolatier.

Quadrant and George Street
This cosmopolitan area near to the university and the Crescent is home to a rich mix of independent and branded high-quality shops, restaurants and bars.

Higher Buxton
This village within the town has around 80 shops, services and establishments offering fine food and local produce. Officially the Highest Market Town in Britain, Buxton’s Market days are Tuesday and Saturday on the Market Place in Higher Buxton. This area of the town is served by a large number of car parks and is on a regional bus route. |
