Buxton Swimming & Fitness Centre
The Buxton Swimming & Fitness Centre is located at the west end of the Pavilion Gardens promenade next to the car park. Between 2019 and 2024, the centre was operated by Parkwood Leisure who manage the Pavilion Gardens complex. It is now operated by owners, High Peak Borough Council, via myActive.
You can pay as you go or join the centre as a member. You can also hire the facilities for private parties and club events. Swimming attire is available to purchase.
Facilities include:
- 25m swimming pool
- 5m learner pool
- 32 station gym with up to 40kg weights
- Group exercise classes including circuits, body combat, pilates and zumba
- Wheelchair access and pool hoist
Swimming sessions/classes include:
- Fitness lane swim
- General swim
- Aqua fitness classes
- Adult lessons
