Buxton’s nearest airport is Manchester Airport. The Skyline 199 bus runs between Manchester Airport to Buxton every 30 minutes during peak the daytime and every hour off-peak, 40-90 minute journey. www.highpeakbuses.com

Buxton’s railway station is on Station Road to the north of the town centre. Our rail link goes to Stockport (45 minute journey) and Manchester Piccadilly (60 minute journey) with trains every half hour during peak times and every hour off-peak. The last train arrives around midnight.

There is parking for coaches in Sylvan Car Park and Burlington Road. There are drop off points on St John’s Road near the Pavilion Arts Centre, Circus Parade near the Cavendish Arcade, and Devonshire Road near the Devonshire Dome.
