The Gallery in the Gardens
The Gallery in the Gardens is the showcase for the largest selection of locally made, high quality art and craft in the area. Featuring the work of over 40 artists and craftspeople from the High Peak Artists group, the Gallery is situated within the beautiful 23 acre Pavilion Gardens complex.
Affordable, original work on display includes paintings, ceramics, designer jewellery, photography, textiles, turned wood, glass, embroidery, calligraphy, linocuts, etchings and a large selection of prints.
Members include many award-winning artisans such as Howard Levitt, Jill Kerr, David Steeden, Pam Smart, Adele Kime, Catriona Hall, Louise Jannetta and others. The gallery is staffed by the artists who are always happy to offer help and advice.
The gallery is open every day except Christmas Day. Opening hours vary according to the season so check the website for details.
