Buxton Markets
The regular market on Buxton Market Place – the highest in England – is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the year* from 9am to 4pm provides a great choice for a range of your needs from food, household goods, clothes, gifts and much more.
*none in early July due to fun fair on Market Place
Themed Markets
Alongside the regular market there are specialist markets throughout the year.
Craft, Quirky & Vintage market on the first Saturday of each month, April to December
Food & Drink markets on the third Saturday of each month, March to December
Special Events
There is also programme of special events through the year.

Buxton Festival Fringe on the market – Saturday 5 July
Buxton Day of Dance on the market – Saturday 19 July
Christmas Market – Saturday 13 December
No Market – 4 or 8 July due to fun fair on Market Place
