Winter Lights Switch On 2018

Here are some pictures from the Winter Lights Switch On on Friday 23rd November, 2018 at the Pavilion Gardens. Crowds gathered on what was an atmospheric, misty evening and took the opportunity to see the newly-restored and re-opened Octagon Hall which held the Grand Bazaar. Among others, Buxton Studio Choir and Fairfield Brass Band created a festive atmosphere and the star of the upcoming ‘Dick Whittington’ pantomime,¬†Gabrielle Green, turned the lights on along with Mayor of the High Peak, Councillor Linda Grooby, and Bill Weston MBE.
