The Museum and Art Gallery also hosts a variety of exhibitions of art, craft, photography and local history throughout the year running in three different galleries and has a programme of events and workshops.

The Museum shop stocks fascinating fossils, colourful minerals and gifts made from decorative stones as well as local history and special interest books.
