Buxton – a great place to be if you’re young. There are children’s play areas, an adventure playground with crazy golf, and so much open space to just run and kick a ball around. There’s a swimming pool, tennis courts, a basketball and football area and lots lots more…
Take up a sport, get involved with outdoor adventure all across the Peak. Go cycling on the completely family friendly Tissington or High Peak Trails, or even swing from the trees like a Gorilla at Go Ape you could always just ride the steam train or have a picnic in over 30 acres of Pavillion Gardens and then relax with an ice cream.
And because we’re surrounded by the Peak District National Park, we’ve some of the best got rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking, sailing, caving, walking and horse riding anywhere in Britain.
