Buxton Water - Sourced in the Heart of England

Sourced in the heart of England, in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Peak District, Buxton natural mineral water has been enjoyed for generations since it was first discovered by the Romans in AD70.

Having filtered for 5,000 years through ancient limestone, the water naturally acquires a unique set of minerals, before naturally rising to the surface at a temperature of 27.5° centigrade. This unique natural filtration process gives Buxton its exceptional purity and crisp, light, refreshing taste.

Official water of the English Cricket Team, Buxton water kept the national side refreshed during their magnificent win of the 2009 npower Ashes series.

Buxton Natural Mineral Water plays an important role in the economy of Buxton and the High Peak and has therefore made a commitment to support local business and community events. In 2009/10 Buxton Natural Mineral Water supports:

  • Buxton Christmas Lights Switch On
  • Vision Buxton Town Guide and tourism website
  • Buxton Festival community and education programme – a series of specially designed events which aim to involve around 2,000 people from Buxton and the wider region in the creative arts activity of the Festival
  • Project WET – a series of projects in Buxton Community School to help teachers demonstrate the precious nature of water as a global commodity to their students via fun and engaging activities
  • Visit Peak District & Derbyshire
  • Buxton in Bloom
  • Buxton Opera House

Lesley Gooch from Buxton Natural Mineral Water comments:

By supporting community and business events in Buxton, we demonstrate our commitment to Buxton’s economic growth. We understand how important business and tourism are to the town and are delighted to be working in partnership with Vision Buxton
